ABOUT…
For years Carl and Leann Albrecht have been pouring their lives into music and ministry. From their early involvement at Grace World Outreach Center in St. Louis, MO. where the worship projects of Integrity Music were birthed, to partnering with Maranatha Music from California, then later teaming up for worship events for Focus On The Family, Women Of Faith, Worship International, Worship Leader Workshops and others, Carl and Leann were always on the forefront of what was happening in the modern worship movement.
For over three decades Carl’s drum and percussion artistry and Leann’s signature vocal sound have been heard on 100’s of recordings. If you have followed the history of modern worship music then the work of these two minstrels of the Lord have been part of your experience. Recording and touring with such artists as Don Moen, Paul Baloche, Ron Kenoly, Paul Wilbur, Kent Henry, Maranatha Praise Band, Lenny LeBlanc, Paul Overstreet, Alvin Slaughter, Kim Hill, Abe Laboriel & Friends, Women Of Faith, The Promise Keepers Band and so many more… yet they still ventured out to do their own music and ministry work while still serving others.
Not only have Carl and Leann been part of the explosion of worship music around the world, but they also have always poured themselves into their church communities. Giving of their artistic, teaching, and leadership gifts has always been part of their mandate from the Lord. While still working on recordings, extensively touring and teaching at seminars around the world, you would still find Carl and Leann in their home church staying plugged into the ministry at home.
Along their journey of music and ministry, Carl and Leann started The Well Of Nashville. It began in the fall of 2007 in their home randomly as their schedules permitted. Then two years ago they started meeting twice a month. NOW, The Well of Nashville has evolved into a growing church community of passionate followers of Jesus. After 4 years of meeting on Tuesday evenings at the Scarritt-Bennett Center the church has moved just north of Metro Nashville to Goodlettsville, TN. We meet now on Sunday morning at 10:30a.m. and Wednesday at 7p.m. The meetings stream live from The Well website and their YouTube channel as well as other servers, so you can join in the journey from anywhere.
These special meetings were birthed when the Lord asked them to “create a space” for HIM without programs or agendas. The Well of Nashville is a place of “waiting on the Lord,” through a seamless flow of worship, prayer, the Word and spontaneous songs. It is a growing church where the Lord said He would raise up “giants of the faith” who would fully know who they are as sons & daughters of the Most High God and walk in the fullest expression of the gospel of Jesus Christ – Experiencing and sharing the love and grace of the Lord in words and powerful actions.
*Isaiah 40:31(NKJV) But those who wait on the Lord
shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
Carl and Leann have stepped into the role of being pastors for this growing church. A gathering of people who simply come hungry to meet with the living God. For them, it’s an honor to host the most amazing guest — King Jesus. Even with their clear intense focus, it’s still a very relaxed time of fellowship with the Lord and each other.
Some people come to hear a specific word from the Lord, while others just come to worship and adore Jesus..…Who alone is worthy. Occasionally visitors come who need a place of refuge during recent storms of life; or need a place to “be still and know that He is God”. No two meetings are the same and all who come receive more than they ever would have imagined.
And so Carl and Leann invite you to come and join them for a time of refreshing. King Jesus is waiting. There’s no routine, schedule, requirements or dress codes. Just come and drink deeply of His presence. You will not be disappointed. “For where two or more are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” – Jesus. Matthew 18:20 (NKJV)
